Step-by-step guide

Get your picks on Telegram

Connect your account once and every new pick will reach your phone, in a private chat with our bot. On your phone it takes one tap; on a computer, scanning a QR code. It takes a minute.

1 minute · one tap or a QR code · free

Before you start

Check these three things. If one is missing, the bot can’t send you anything.

  1. Your Tippium account, with a verified email

Log in with your email and password. If you didn’t click the link in the confirmation email when you signed up, do that first.

  2. Telegram installed

It’s a free messaging app, like WhatsApp. Download it from the App Store or Google Play and create your account with your phone number.

  3. A tipster you follow or subscribe to

The bot only sends picks from your tipsters. If you don’t have any yet, choose one in the tipster ranking.

What you’ll receive

If you follow a free tipster
You get their public picks.
If you subscribe to a tipster
You also get their exclusive picks, the ones only subscribers can see.
If the tipster edits or removes a pick
We let you know too, so you always have the right version.

Step by step

Follow the steps in order. The pictures are examples: your screen will show your own details.

  1. Step 1

    Open “Subscriptions” in your dashboard

Log in to Tippium and go to your dashboard → Subscriptions. This button takes you straight there:

    Open Subscriptions

Are you a tipster? Your Telegram card is under Dashboard → Settings.

  2. Step 2

    Tap “Connect Telegram”

It’s on the Telegram alerts card. Two new buttons will appear below it.

On a computer? The card also shows a QR code: scan it with your phone camera and Telegram opens straight in the bot chat.

How to use the QR code
  3. Step 3

    Tap “Open bot with link”

Telegram will open the chat with our bot, @tippium_master_bot. At the bottom you’ll see a big button: tap START. This is the step people forget most: without it, the connection isn’t completed.

The link expires after 10 minutes. If that happens, go back to Tippium and tap “Generate another code”.

  4. Step 4

    The bot confirms the connection

Within seconds the bot writes “Telegram connected to Tippium”. If you see it, you’re connected.

  5. Step 5

Go back to Tippium and run the test

Tap “Check connection”: you’ll see “Telegram connected to…” with your username. Then tap “Send test message”. The bot will send you a message listing the tipsters whose picks you’ll receive.

  6. Step 6

Done! This is how picks will arrive

Every time one of your tipsters publishes, you’ll get a message like this. Tap “View pick” to open it on Tippium.

It usually arrives as soon as the tipster publishes. When there’s a lot of activity or an incident, it can take a few minutes.

Automatic connection

On a computer: scan the QR code

If you’re on a computer or tablet, you don’t need to type anything or send yourself links. The Telegram card creates a personal QR code that takes you straight to the bot.

  1. Click “Connect Telegram” on your computerIn Subscriptions, on the Telegram alerts card. Your QR code appears next to “On a computer? Scan this code”.
  2. Point your phone camera at itOpen your phone’s regular camera and point it at the code. No special app needed: on iPhone and most Android phones the camera reads QR codes by itself.
  3. Tap the prompt and tap STARTThe camera shows a prompt to open Telegram. Tap it: the @tippium_master_bot chat opens and you only need to tap START. The bot confirms the connection within seconds.

Your QR code is personal and single-use: it expires after 10 minutes and connects Telegram to your account. Don’t share it or send screenshots. If it expires, click “Generate another code”.

On your phone, tablet or computer

It works on all of them. The easiest way is to do it on the phone where you have Telegram.

  • Phone

Do every step on your phone. When you tap “Open bot with link”, the Telegram app opens by itself. If you’re asked which app to use, choose Telegram.

  • Tablet

Same as on the phone, if Telegram is installed on the tablet. If not, connect from your phone: alerts reach every device where you use Telegram.

  • Computer

The easiest way is the QR code: scan it with your phone camera and jump straight to the bot. We explain it step by step above.

If you’d rather use Telegram on your computer: with Telegram Desktop installed, “Open bot with link” opens it; if not, a Telegram page opens where you can click “Open in Telegram” or go to web.telegram.org.

Camera can’t read the QR? Use the manual option on the card: open Telegram on your phone, search for @tippium_master_bot and send it the message we show you (it starts with /start). Click “Copy command” so you don’t have to type it.

Not getting the picks?

It’s almost always one of these. Check them in order.

I didn’t tap “Start” on Telegram

Without that button the connection isn’t completed. Go back to Tippium, tap “Connect Telegram” (or “Generate another code”) and repeat step 3.

The bot replies “Link your Tippium account”

The code expired (it lasts 10 minutes), was already used, or your email isn’t verified. Verify your email if needed, generate a new code and open the bot again.

The test says I don’t follow any tipster

The bot is connected correctly, but you have no tipsters. Follow one, or check that your subscription is active in Subscriptions.

Telegram didn’t deliver the test message

You may have blocked the bot or deleted the chat. Search for @tippium_master_bot on Telegram, tap “Unblock” or “Start” and connect again from Tippium.

I get the messages, but without sound

The chat may be muted. On Telegram, open the bot chat, tap its name at the top and turn notifications on. Also check that Telegram is allowed to send notifications in your phone settings.

I connected it to a different Telegram account

The card shows which account is connected. Tap “Disconnect Telegram” and connect again from the right Telegram account.

I sent /stop to the bot

/stop turns alerts off. To get them again, connect Telegram once more from Tippium.

The QR code won’t scan or no longer works

Turn up the screen brightness and move the phone closer or further until the whole code fits in the camera. If the camera doesn’t recognise it, use Google Lens or your phone’s QR reader. If more than 10 minutes have passed, the code has expired: click “Generate another code” and scan the new one.

Other ways to see your picks

Telegram is the most convenient, but it’s not the only option.

  • On the website, always

All your tipsters’ picks are in your dashboard → My Forecasts, on your phone or computer.

  • By email (optional)

You can also get an email for every new pick. Turn it on or off in Profile, under Notification emails.

  • Push alerts (optional)

Install Tippium from your browser menu and turn on alerts in Subscriptions. On iPhone, first add Tippium to your home screen.

Your picks, in your Telegram

Connect your account once and every new pick from your tipsters reaches your phone, in a private chat with the official Tippium bot.

To get picks, connect your account from Tippium first.
